Info: Triiodothyronine (T3) is a thyroid hormone essential for proper metabolism, growth, and development. It elevates metabolic rate by causing the body to synthesise more proteins, more effectively use air, and burn more calories.

EFFECTS :

T3 increases metabolism, speeds up fat burning and energy, increases muscle gains, and has thermogenic properties.

RECOMMENDED DOSE AND DURATION OF USE:

A daily dose of 10–50 mcg is recommended, ideally to be maintained for 4–16 weeks.

POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS:

Fast or pounding heartbeats, feeling jittery, trouble breathing; chest pain, dry cough, cough with mucus, chest tightness; fever; feeling unsteady, loss of coordination; high blood pressure; severe headache, blurred vision, pounding in your neck or ears, anxiety, confusion; or hair loss.

COMBINATION WITH OTHER MEDICINES:

Be cautious when using T3 with drugs that influence the heart rate or blood pressure. There are some philosophies used in my practice to minimize this from being an issue. Beta-blockers, or cycling ketotifen (brand name Zaditor) are both examples of this.
