Info: Zymoplex 20 from Genepharm contains 20 mg of tamoxifen per tablet. Tamoxifen is a selective estrogen receptor modulator (SERM) that acts primarily by binding to estrogen receptors and modifying estrogen signalling in a tissue-selective manner. Effects

Zymoplex 20 contains 20 mg of tamoxifen per tablet. In hormone-receptor-positive breast cancer, the standard dosage is 20 mg taken orally once daily (or up to 40 mg daily in divided doses of 20 mg twice daily), typically continued long-term for 5 to 10 years depending on physician evaluation. For off-label applications such as gynecomastia management or post-cycle recovery protocols, common adult dosages range from 10 mg to 20 mg daily for a duration of 4 to 6 weeks.   

Combination with Other Drugs

Tamoxifen may interact with medicines that affect its metabolism or estrogen-related pathways. Particular attention may be required when it is combined with strong CYP2D6 inhibitors, certain anticoagulants, and other hormonal therapies.
