NAD+ 500MG

Manufacturer: Unique Pharma
Package: 500 mg/vial
Common Names: NAD+, Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide, NAD, Oxidized NAD+, Coenzyme NAD+

Info: NAD+ (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide) is a naturally occurring coenzyme present in virtually all living cells. It plays a fundamental role in cellular energy metabolism, participating in oxidation-reduction reactions that allow cells to convert nutrients into usable energy. NAD+ is also involved in biological processes related to mitochondrial activity, DNA repair, cellular signaling, oxidative stress responses, and metabolic regulation.

Effects

Cellular Energy Research: NAD+ is an essential component of mitochondrial energy metabolism and functions as an electron carrier during cellular respiration. Research has examined its role in supporting oxidative phosphorylation and ATP production, making NAD+ particularly relevant to studies of cellular energy availability and metabolic efficiency.

Mitochondrial and Metabolic Research: NAD+ availability is closely connected with mitochondrial function and metabolic homeostasis.

Dosage Range and Duration of Use

NAD+ 500 mg (500 mg/vial): Each vial contains 500 mg of NAD+ in lyophilized form and requires preparation following appropriate sterile procedures prior to administration.

In research and clinical settings, subcutaneous or intramuscular protocols typically utilize 50 mg to 100 mg per administration, given two to three times weekly over a duration of 4 to 8 weeks. For intravenous protocols, dosages generally range from 250 mg to 500 mg per session, administered slowly over several hours depending on individual tolerance. Specific administration parameters and session frequency should be determined according to applicable medical or research protocols.

Side Effects

The safety and tolerability profile of NAD+ may vary according to the administration route, dose, concentration, infusion or injection rate, and individual characteristics. Reported or investigated reactions may include nausea, headache, fatigue, dizziness, abdominal discomfort, flushing, or temporary changes in general well-being. More pronounced reactions may occur with rapid administration or higher exposure. Appropriate medical or research supervision is recommended, particularly for parenteral protocols.

Post-Cycle Therapy

NAD+ is not an anabolic steroid, androgenic compound, or testosterone-suppressing agent. It does not act as an anabolic hormone and therefore does not require conventional post-cycle therapy (PCT) protocols associated with anabolic steroid use. NAD+ is a naturally occurring cellular coenzyme involved primarily in metabolic and redox processes.

Storage:

Store lyophilized NAD+ according to the manufacturer's storage specifications and protect the vial from excessive heat, moisture, and direct exposure to light. The product should remain in its original sealed container until preparation. After reconstitution, storage conditions and stability may depend on the diluent, concentration, preparation method, temperature, and manufacturer's instructions. Avoid repeated exposure to unsuitable temperatures or prolonged storage after reconstitution.
