SEMAGLUTIDE 5MG

Manufacturer: Unique Pharma

Package: 5 mg/vial

Common Names: Semaglutide, GLP-1 Receptor Agonist, GLP-1 Analogue

Info: Semaglutide is a synthetic peptide and long-acting glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonist that has been extensively studied in metabolic research, particularly in relation to glucose regulation, appetite control, energy balance, and body-weight management. Semaglutide is structurally related to endogenous GLP-1 and has been modified to provide prolonged activity in the body.

Effects

Glucose Metabolism Research: Semaglutide has been investigated for its effects on glucose-dependent insulin secretion and glucagon regulation. These mechanisms are relevant to research involving blood-glucose homeostasis and metabolic function.

Appetite and Satiety Research: Activation of GLP-1 receptors is associated with signaling pathways involved in appetite and satiety. Semaglutide has therefore been widely studied in experimental models examining food intake, hunger regulation, and energy balance.

Cardiometabolic Research: Semaglutide has also been studied in relation to broader cardiometabolic parameters, including body composition, glycemic control, and cardiovascular risk factors.

Dosage Range and Duration of Use

Semaglutide 5 mg (5 mg/vial): Each vial contains 5 mg of semaglutide. The product is intended for preparation according to the manufacturer's specifications and should only be used in accordance with appropriate medical or research protocols. In clinical use, semaglutide is introduced at a low initial dose and increased gradually over time to improve tolerability.

Standard therapeutic protocols rely on once-weekly administration, typically beginning at an initial starting dose of 0.25 mg once weekly for Weeks 1-–4, escalating to 0.5 mg once weekly for Weeks 5–8, increasing to 1.0 mg once weekly for Weeks 9-12, and then to 1.7 mg once weekly for Weeks 13-16 if needed and tolerated, before reaching a maintenance dose of 2.4 mg once weekly from Week 17 onward.

Side Effects

Possible adverse effects associated with semaglutide may include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, abdominal discomfort, decreased appetite, and other gastrointestinal symptoms.

Some individuals may experience headache, fatigue, dizziness, or changes in appetite during treatment, particularly during periods of dose adjustment.

Post-Cycle Therapy

Semaglutide is not an anabolic steroid, androgenic compound, or testosterone-suppressing anabolic agent. It therefore does not require conventional post-cycle therapy (PCT) protocols associated with anabolic steroid use.

Storage:

Store lyophilized Semaglutide in accordance with the manufacturer's storage specifications and protect the vial from excessive heat, moisture, and direct light. After reconstitution, storage conditions and stability depend on the diluent, concentration, preparation method, and manufacturer's instructions.
