Info: Exemestane, a prescription drug sold under the brand name Aromasin, is taken orally for the most part by women who no longer menstruate for purposes of preventing or treating breast cancer. The drug belongs to the class of aromatase inhibitors. It does its job by invading the aromatase enzyme that plays a vital role in the conversion of androgens to estrogen.Blocking this enzyme, exemestane successfully reduces estrogen levels in the body, therefore beneficial in handling some forms of breast cancer that grow in response to estrogen. The androgenic index is low, the anabolic index is not applicable. Estrogen levels are low due to Exemestane as an estrogen blocker. Progestative activity is low, and liver toxicity is low.

Effects

Exemestane blocks the enzymes responsible for aromatization, reducing estrogen levels by 80-85% in the body.

Dosage Range and Duaration

Take Exemestane with or after meals. The common cycle duration is 2 to 4 weeks, with some using it two to three times per week. Dosages are as follows: beginners: 12.5 mg every other day (EOD), hobbyists: 12.5 mg every day (ED), professionals: 25 mg every day (ED), and women: 12.5 mg ED or EOD. The half-life is 25-27 hours.

Side Effects

Side effects include weakness or fatigue, headaches, hot flashes, high blood pressure, and joint pain. Rare side effects are depression, nausea, and/or vomiting.

Post-Cycle Therapy

Exemestane can be used in your steroid cycle to help minimize effects such as aromatization. It is also used for PCT to aid in the stabilization of hormone levels.

Storage

Keep in a cool, dry, and lightless place at the temperature range of 15-25°C. For children under 12 years, consult with a doctor before using the product.

Combining with Steroid Cycles

Exemestane is not only used in PCT, but can also be used during the steroid cycle. It is 12% stronger than Arimidex in terms of estrogen suppression and raises testosterone. It is a steroidal drug, which makes it have androgen properties, which are useful during PCT.
