EFFECTS

Cabergoline, a dopamine agonist, is used to treat prolactinomas and other hyperprolactinemic disorders by reducing serum prolactin levels. It helps in the prevention of gynecomastia, enhances erection, and shortens the time taken to regain an erection after sexual intercourse. Additionally, it lowers athlete blood pressure and reduces water retention.

DOSE RANGE AND DURATION OF USE

The average mild dosage is 0.25mg every three days (E3D), which is sufficient for most athletes. The recommended dosage is 0.5mg E3D, considered ideal for most athletes. The highest dosage is 1mg E3D, but it is not recommended as only a few individuals may require such a high dosage.

SIDE EFFECT

Common side effects include sleepiness. You may experience an upset stomach. Depression can occur. Some people may have vomiting. Constipation is another possible side effect. You might feel stomach discomfort or pain. Dizziness can happen. Headaches are common. Sweating may increase. Dry mouth can occur. You might feel tingling in the hands and feet. Bloating is possible. Fatigue is another common side effect.
