Info: Melanotan II is a lab-made analog of a naturally occurring melanocortin peptide hormone alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (α- MSH), which is being synthetic peptide originally developed to stimulate tanning. So what does Melanotan II do? Melanotan II resembles α-MSH’s activities and binds to skin melanocortin receptors to synthesis the color giving pigment known as melanin. Consequently, it is possible for someone to develop a better tan by using this process. Likewise, interactions between melanocortin receptors other than those involved in skin pigmentation could influence other functions such as sexual drive and hunger.

Effects

Effects include a tanning effect, increased libido, appetite increase or suppression (varies by individual), hair pigmentation, and fat burning.

Dosage Range and Duration of Use

Common dosage: 0.5 to 1 mg/day (some athletes may use up to 3 mg/day). It's best to start your cycle with a low dose of about 0.1-0.2 mg/day.
The half-life is several hours, allowing for flexible dosing (active life is 33 to 36 hours).

Side Effects

The side effect that is reported most frequently with Melanotan II is reduced appetite. Some other adverse effects that may be experienced include; nausea, fatigue, or dizziness. Melanotan II may also cause the hair and any moles to become darker.

Post-Cycle Therapy

Melanotan 2 is also used by some athletes after the AAS cycle in order to be tanned or to have increased erectile function.

Storage:

u are free to keep un-mixed vials in a refrigerator or freezer for twelve months maximum. For mixed Melanotan, it could last up to five weeks contained in the refrigerator.
