Info: Aromasin 25mg, a drug with exemestane, is an aromataseinhibitor used in the treatment of postmenopausal women with hormone receptor-positivebreast cancer. It achieves this by lowering the levels of estrogen in the bodythus slowing the growth of cancer cells. Aromasin works by blocking thearomatase enzyme which is required in the synthesis of estrogen from androgens.Even though ovarian estrogen production is low in postmenopausal women, smallamounts from other areas may fuel cancer development.
