Aromasin, also known as exemestane is a drug commonly prescribed for treating breast cancer, in women who have gone through menopause. It acts as an aromatase inhibitor stopping the conversion of androgens to estrogens, which plays a role in the development of types of breast cancer.

Exemestane functions by blocking the enzyme aromatases activity, for converting androgens into estrogens. Exemestane efficiently prevents the growth of estrogen-dependent breast cancers by lowering the body's estrogen levels.

Exemestane is primarily used to treat postmenopausal women with breast cancer. It is typically recommended following the failure of alternative therapies such chemotherapy, radiation, or surgery. To lower their chance of breast cancer returning after prior treatment, many women decide to purchase Exemestane.

The recommended daily dosage of Exemestane for the treatment of breast cancer is 25 mg, taken orally after meals. The length of the treatment is variable and depends on the cancer's severity as well as other pertinent variables.

When treating breast tumors that are dependent on estrogen, exemestane 20 mg has several benefits. It successfully reduces tumor growth and lessens the chance of breast cancer returning. Its mild side effects and tolerance make it very appealing. Exemestane may be used as a first line of treatment or as a last resort after all other options have been explored.

Exemestane does, however, have some negative effects, much like most medications. Hot flashes, exhaustion, joint discomfort, nausea, vomiting, migraines, and hair loss are a few of them. Mood swings like sadness or anxiety can occasionally also occur.
